Edamerica Offers Disaster Relief Following Katrina
Knoxville, TN - Knoxville-based national student loan provider Edamerica and its parent company, Edfinancial Services, have created a $250,000 fund to aid displaced Gulf Coast financial aid employees.
The money will be allocated according to need in amounts up to $2,500 per family and distributed by Edamerica, Edfinancial Services and financial aid associations in areas hit by Hurricane Katrina.
Sister company Edsouth is waiving interest on loans for students who live in affected areas.
